444 - Secure Cloud Storage
2-week course consisting of 2 Classes on Friday 7 & 14 June 2019 - 1 to 4 pm
If you're ready to take the plunge into storing your files, photos and more in the cloud but need help using one. This class could be for you.
We will briefly explain the four popular cloud storage available today: OneDrive, iCloud, Google Drive and Dropbox.
We will go in-depth with how to use Dropbox as it is the most popular cloud storage for individuals, easy to use and easy to set up. Dropbox is a generic cloud storage that is not affiliated with the three powerhouses in computing: Microsoft, Apple and Android.
The other part of the course is that we will explain in detail how to get all your photos into the cloud using Google Photos.
There is so much to cover. We will have two classes to explain all the important aspects of cloud storage so that you have a better understanding and may have the confidence to start using cloud storage after attending this two-week course.
Have some understanding of cloud storage and want or need to use cloud storage. If you have an Apple computer, know your Apple ID and password. If you have a Microsoft computer, know your Microsoft Account and password. If you have an Android, know you Google Account and password.
